SolePick Recipe Publishing Standards
Every recipe should provide a unique, useful introduction; exact ingredient quantities; clear numbered steps; preparation and cooking times; serving yield; tested substitutions; and relevant dietary notes.
Nutrition and allergen checks
Calculate nutrition from the complete ingredient list and stated yield using reliable ingredient data. Review the result and label it as an estimate where appropriate. Check common allergens and cross-contact warnings. Never invent values or imply medical suitability without evidence.
Images and video
Use original or licensed media, meaningful alternative text, accurate captions and transcripts. Add video chapters when available, and preserve a complete written recipe.
SEO and accessibility
Use descriptive titles, readable headings, helpful internal links, mobile-friendly layouts and valid structured data that matches visible recipe content. Do not publish empty city pages, duplicate translated pages or misleading recipe schema. Test keyboard access, contrast, language attributes and right-to-left layouts.
Daily publishing review
Check for duplicate topics, factual accuracy, image rights, recipe testing, translation quality, internal links and mobile layout before publishing. A scheduled draft is not the same as a successfully published and validated recipe.
